Hunger Action Day 2017 is Wednesday, May 24th, 7AM – 5PM
Hunger Action Day is a fun and inspiring day of engaging your legislators about hunger and encouraging them to support anti-hunger legislation.
Alameda County Community Food Bank and friends will drive up to the State Capitol Building in Sacramento together as a group in a bus and drive back down together as well. There will be a morning and a lunchtime rally at the Capitol steps. Hunger fighters from the legislature and advocates from across the state will speak. In between rallies, you’ll join experienced activists at meetings with legislators and legislative staff to lobby in support of current anti-hunger legislation.
