Convoy of Hope: May 5 Alameda County Fairgrounds

Convoy of Hope is a faith-based organization dedicated to helping local
families and individuals in need and will host a Community Event in Tri-Valley
on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton,
Calif.
This is a great opportunity for local businesses, community service agencies
and other organizations to provide a poverty-free day to families and
individuals in need (Guests of Honor). The goal is to offer assistance designed
to establish long-term solutions that can improve the overall lives of our
neighbors in need. Free services will include: health care evaluations, mental
health counseling, housing information and career counseling. Additionally,
haircuts, family portraits, groceries, backpacks, a kids’ zone and more will be
available as time and resources permit during the event. In addition to these
services, lunch will also be offered to all Guests of Honor.
We welcome volunteers, service providers and financial support to deliver on
this important endeavor.
